New Fire and Rescue ‘Portal’ page roll out

We have recently launched our first portal page for Fire and Rescue – the new design will give teams the opportunity to provide a ‘one stop shop’ for users, making a variety of content available on a single page.

Navigation has been refined and top tasks arranged at the top of the page – the most popular tasks are visible and available as soon as the page is loaded without the need to scroll through a list of tasks.

We have been working with Warwickshire Fire and Rescue to design a layout which provides a tailored service – the inclusion of incident feed and Twitter timeline helps the team report any important events in the region – all there on one page. The feature banner helps raise awareness of the ‘Fire Kills’ campaign.

As ever, the new page layout responds effectively regardless of the screen size of the device used – whether viewed on desktop or mobile, all popular tasks are clearly presented and easily found. A survey can be found on the page – please let us know your thoughts on the new design.

Subsequent pages have also been refined – clearer navigation pages for Home and Business safety now mean that all content can be accessed with minimum searching and navigation.

Please keep an eye out for future portal pages. Libraries is coming soon…….
